For this project, we were asked to gather statistical information in order to create a piece. I decided to do mine based on the current state of hip-hop. I did this by going around campus asking twenty-five separate people who their favorite hip-hop artists were. I then took that information and went on Google to get a portrait picture of each rapper chosen. From there, I started organizing the structure of a face, and based on how often the rapper was chosen, the area of their image was bigger.

This is the second image I made for the Forage project. In this one, I constructed a different face with random square shapes instead. In addition, I took the most popular song by each of the artists and put them in Audacity and made a 5:00 song with all of them combined with averaged lengths. I then took the wavelengths and overlayed them on the piece to create a nice effect.

I don't exactly remember what project this was, but I do remember that my original goal was to create a image that kind of resembled a photograph from the 1970s that has been faded away and stained. This was one of my first projects in Digital Imaging I, and its flaws add to the aesthetic of the piece.
