Under Maintenance. sorry for the inconvenience!

For my last semester of college, I had the honor to be apart of a highly regarded course at Pace University, the award-winning Making of a Documentary Course. This course allows students to make a documentary about a specific place and current event, including all aspects of production. For the 2019 course, the topic of focus was on the KÄ«lauea eruptions that began in May of 2018 and ended in September. This was the first eruption Hawaii had seen in over 200 years. We had the opportunity as a class to not only study these eruptions, but to visit the Big Island of Hawaii and film a documentary based upon those who were affected and the culture itself of Hawaiian natives. This was our production process from the beginning stages in January to the premiere of our documentary in May of 2019.
